Each school within The Pathway Academy Trust has retained a Local Governing Body (LGB) to monitor the standards of Teaching and Learning at local level. Local Governors have a key role to play in the overall development and success of the Trust and in contributing to joint working and sharing best practice between schools in the Trust.
The LGB’s role is to exercise leadership on behalf of the Trust in the running of an individual school, to hold the school’s Senior Leadership Team to account on the operation and performance of the school, and to exercise its responsibilities and powers in partnership with the Head Teacher, staff, and the Trust’s Directors.
Information is shared with the Board of Directors via a Trust Liaison Officer, who is a serving Director appointed by the Board to attend LGB meetings and provide feedback on both sides of current strategic and policy decisions, achievements or concerns. We believe that good communication between our governing groups, our leadership teams and the Trust central team is essential to promote collaborative working and will ensure the ongoing success of our Trust.

The Trust Board
The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that all of the schools within The Pathway Academy Trust are providing a good quality of education for our children.
The Trust Team
The Trust Team, comprising of the Executive Leadership Team and Trust Central Team, supports each of our schools in meeting their statutory and regulatory requirements while aiding and managing operational services across the Trust.
The School Leadership
The Trust Leadership Team, comprising of the Chief Executive Officer, Deputy CEO, Head Teachers and Heads of Schools, meet regularly and work together to drive school improvement in all areas of The Pathway Academy Trust.
